This wide-ranging collection of archival images from the NFB begins with workers spraying insecticides in the forest and then, in quick succession, young men tree planting, a car speeding down a gravel road, a demonstration of a household appliance, a cloth mill, young women in a nunnery, several planes landing on a grassy landing strip (and even on water), a pheasant hunt and, to cap it all off, a glimpse of the hard work performed by lumberjacks.
